Investing

Investing money is very different from saving. By saving your money is placed on ‘deposit’ with a bank and baring a major collapse you are pretty much guaranteed to get back what you put in.

When you invest there is no guarantee of the return you will get, investing is therefore often seen as possessing a greater risk than saving and because of this should only be considered for money you can put aside for 5 years at least.

The number of ways you can go about investing are hugely varied and as such you should speak with a financial advisor before making any decisions.
