Athlete Ambassadors

We are delighted to be working alongside four BAC Athlete Ambassadors, who work with us to help champion the athlete voice and to support the BAC in ensuring we provide the best support and guidance to our membership.

Hannah Cockroft

Hannah Cockroft MBE: Wheelchair racer specialising in sprint distances in the T34 classification. Hannah is a five-time Paralympic champion, having claimed two golds in London and three in Rio, and also has a host of world titles and world records to her name.

Laura Deas

Laura Deas: Skeleton racer who won bronze at the 2018 Winter Olympics, continuing Britain’s outstanding recent record in the event. Laura has been a consistent performer on the World Cup circuit since making her debut in the 2014-15 season.

Adam Gemili

Adam Gemili: Sprinter who was the first British man to run a sub-10 second 100m and a sub-20 second 200m. Adam was part of the team which won 4x100m relay gold at the 2017 World Championships, and was 2014 European 200m champion.

Hollie Pearne-Webb

Hollie Pearne-Webb: Captain of the England and Great Britain hockey teams, who was a member of the history-making team which won gold at Rio 2016. Hollie scored the winning penalty in the shoot-out which decided the final against the Netherlands.

2020 Athlete Ambassadors:

Alex Danson

Alex Danson MBE: Retired English international field hockey player, with over 300 international caps to her name, Alex was part of the Great Britain team which won Olympic gold and bronze medals in 2016 and 2012 respectively.

Hannah Cockroft

Hannah Cockroft MBE: Wheelchair racer specialising in sprint distances in the T34 classification. Hannah won gold in the 100m, 400m and 800m at the London 2017 World Championships and has won five Paralympic, 12 world and two European titles since making her international debut.

Lutalo Muhammad

Lutalo Muhammad: Lutalo competes in  taekwondo for Great Britain, and won bronze at the London 2012 Olympic Games, silver at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games and gold in the -87kg class at the 2012 European Taekwondo Championships.
